Consultation has concluded

On May 14, 2024, Leduc County Council adopted the Transportation Master Plan (TMP), which will guide short, medium and long-term transportation infrastructure investment and establish our vision for transportation in Leduc County over the next 20 years.

    Phase two of public participation took place from Aug. 26 to Sept. 9, 2021. For phase two, we gathered feedback on the following seven key transportation elements:

    1. Regional Transportation
    2. Roadway Classifications
    3. Heavy Truck Network
    4. Active Transportation
    5. Roadway Safety
    6. Infrastructure Investment
    7. Public Transit

    Phase one of public participation took place from Feb. 1 to 28, 2021. For phase one public participation, we worked with the public to understand the issues, concerns and causes of those concerns within the existing transportation network and to identify areas and ideas for improvements, enhancements and changes. The input received will be reflected in the analysis of our current transportation challenges, needs and solutions.
