Third round of public consultation for the Land Use Bylaw update

Our first round of consultation provided the opportunity for feedback on all things related to planning and development in the County to help staff gain a better understanding of the needs of our residents and businesses. It also helped to identify key areas in which the land use bylaw update should focus on to create a more community-led document.

Our second round of consultation invited our residents and business owners the opportunity to attend five open houses held around the County. Attendees were able to speak to staff directly about the land use bylaw and to see the overarching vision for the plan, the areas proposed for change and to provide feedback on the direction of the document.

Our third round of consultation brings together all we’ve heard and learned from our previous rounds of consultation. It also provides interested parties an opportunity to see the proposed land use bylaw, talk with staff about what’s changed, ask questions and provide feedback on the draft.

If anyone interested is unable to attend one of the open houses, the draft document will be available online to download and read, with the online survey to provide their input. Please stayed tuned in to this page for regular updates.
