Notice of public hearing: rescind the Camrose County/Leduc County Intermunicipal Development Plan (IDP)
The Camrose County/Leduc County Intermunicipal Development Plan (IDP) was prepared to comply with the Municipal Government Act (MGA). Section 631(2) of the MGA no longer requires municipalities that have common boundaries and are not members of a growth region to adopt an IDP with each other if they agree that they do not require one. Camrose County and Leduc County agree an IDP is not required. Camrose County and Leduc County also agree the Municipal Development Plans of the respective municipalities will fulfill the core functions and benefits of an IDP and therefore are proposing to rescind the Camrose County/Leduc County IDP.
A public hearing regarding the proposed bylaw to rescind the Camrose County/Leduc County IDP was held at the regular Council meeting on Tuesday, Dec. 14, 2021 at 1:15 p.m.
