Consultation has concluded

Leduc County has received an application to amend the Land Use Bylaw 7-08. The purpose of the proposed bylaw is to redistrict 64.7 ha± (160.0 ac±) of land located in Pt. SW 7-50-24-W4M from an Agricultural District (AG) to a Light Industrial District (LI). The proposed amendment allows for the consideration of a variety of land uses under the LI.

PUBLIC HEARING

 

A public hearing will be held in the Council Chamber of the Leduc County Administrative Office, 101-1101 5 St, Nisku AB T9E 2X3, on Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2024, at 1:45 p.m., or as soon thereafter as possible. Two methods are available to share comments by any person who claims to be affected, or by any other person the Council agrees to hear from:

  • Written submission – must be provided by Nov. 14, 2024, 4:30 p.m.
  • In-person presentation – must pre-register by Dec. 3, 2024, at 4:30 p.m.

The public hearing can be viewed online through the Council calendar at leduc-county.com. Visit ‘Agendas and minutes’ and select the ‘December 10’ Council meeting in the calendar.

Comments must be received by Nov. 14, 2024, by 4:30 p.m. If you make a written submission, the information you provide may be made public, subject to the provisions of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act.
