In 2023, Leduc County received an application to amend the Land Use Bylaw 7-08. The purpose of the proposed bylaw is to redistrict 11.2 ha± (27.7 ac±) of land located in Pt. NE 20-50-24-W4M from the Agricultural (AG) District to Direct Control (DC) District. The purpose of the proposed amendment is to allow for the operation of a resort recreational facility.
A public hearing on the proposed amendment took place on July 11, 2023 at 1:45 p.m.
The proposed bylaw 17-23 Amend Leduc County Land Use Bylaw No. 7-08-LA23-001 was given second and third reading, and was approved by Council on July 11, 2023.
