ABOUT THE PROJECT

Notice of public hearing: Land Use Bylaw 7-08 (amendment LA21-004)

In 2022, Leduc County received an application to amend the Land Use Bylaw 07-08 to redistrict a 32.39 ha (80.04 ac) parcel of land located in Pt. NE 5-51-24-W4M from the AG – Agricultural District to the LI – Light Industrial District. The purpose of the proposed amendment was to allow for development such as warehousing and logistics as primary developments with secondary developments such as commercial, retail and hospitality. 

A public hearing for the proposed amendment was held on Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at 1:15 p.m. during the regular Council meeting.

The amendment was approved by Council at the public hearing on March 22, 2022.
