Notice of public hearing: Land Use Bylaw amendment LA21-001

In 2021, Leduc County received an application to amend the Land Use Bylaw 07-08. The purpose of the amendment was to redistrict a 49.45 acre (20 ha) portion of NW-36-50-23-W4 from the Country Residential (RC) District to the Agricultural/Country Residential Transitional (AG/CR TR) District. The proposed amendment would have placed the subject property into a district that would allow consideration of future envisioned development and land use, which included a manufactured home and agricultural activities, including the keeping of livestock. 

A public hearing on the proposed amendment was held on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at 1:45 p.m.

The proposed amendment was defeated by Council at the public hearing on March 9, 2021.
