Leduc County proposes to repeal and replace the Leduc County Municipal Development Plan Bylaw No. 03-24. Proposed Bylaw 17-25 reflects minor housekeeping changes to the MDP by omitting any references to the regional growth plan as the Edmonton Metropolitan Region Growth Plan was rescinded. The Leduc County MDP sets out guidelines for orderly growth and development in the County for the next 30 years.
PUBLIC HEARING
A public hearing will be held in the Council Chamber of the Leduc County Administrative Office, 101-1101 5 St, Nisku AB T9E 2X3, Aug. 26, 2025, at 2 p.m. during the regular Council meeting. Written or oral submissions can be made by any person who claims to be affected, or from any other person Council agrees to hear from. This hearing provides the public with the opportunity to express their opinions to Council on the proposed bylaw:
Written submissions – must be provided by Aug. 19, 2025, at 4:30 p.m.
In-person presentations – must pre-register by Aug. 19, 2025, at 4:30 p.m.
