Notice of public hearing: Land Use Bylaw amendment LA23-003
Consultation has concluded
Leduc County has received an application to amend the Land Use Bylaw 7-08. The purpose of the proposed bylaw is to redistrict 0.41 ha± (1.02 ac±) of land located in Pt. NW 34-49-22-W4M, Plan 4629 Block G Lot A (located at 5006 Centre Avenue, New Sarepta) from the Residential Urban 2 (RU2) District to Commercial 1 (C1) District. The proposed amendment is to add “Dwelling, Apartments and Adult Care Facility “as discretionary land uses to the Commercial 1 District. The proposed amendment is to allow for the consideration of a variety of land uses under Commercial 1 land use District.

A public hearing on the proposed amendment will be held in the Council Chamber of the County Centre on Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2023 at 1:45 p.m., or as soon thereafter as possible. Written or oral submissions can be made by any person who claims to be affected, or by any other person the Council agrees to hear from.
