ABOUT THE PROJECT
In 2021, Leduc County adopted an area structure plan to guide current and future growth and development in the Nisku area.
The Nisku Major Employment Centre Area Structure Plan complies with Leduc County’s Municipal Development Plan (2019) and the Edmonton Metropolitan Region Growth Plan (2017).
This plan was previously titled as the Greater Nisku Major Area Structure Plan. The name of the project was changed as a result of the decision to remove the East Nisku area from the overall plan area, and to better align with the terms as defined in the MDP.
WHAT WE HEARD
Over the six week consultation period, we received input from Leduc County residents to help define the goals and direction of the ASP. The report linked below details the feedback received. Thank you to everyone who participated - your feedback is appreciated.
